Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Reminds me of Channel 9's annoying "9 Track" trick they use on the cricket, showing where this or that moving object was..
Not that I'm saying you're annoying PlatinumWeaver / Dean

Reminds me of a shot Leigh did about 18 months ago; I shot a night image down at Bondi Beach on the 5700, and Leigh oversaturated the colours plus added a bit more to it.
He needs to post a link to that image here ... g.

Talking about humour in photography....It's a pretty rare animal and difficult to do, (without using Photoshop). The only photographer I know who made a career out of it is Elliot Erwitt. Most of his shots include dogs and they are exquisitly funny. Erwitt is or was a Magnum photographer and for those forum members who don't know who Magnum is...do a Google search and be prepared to discover a world of outstanding photographers.

Robert Capa amongst them. SBS had a bio on Capa a few months back; fascinating stuff. g.

This is the thing dad's asked me to link for ya'll.
I did this last year... The first image, located here, is the image the way I'd display it (aside for resizing for web). The second image, located here, has red circles around every character I put inside the image. Be aware, it's not just male and females like in the foreground of the picture, but some instances have females standing next to each other, one has a child next to a family, etc. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Thanx Leigh.
And for fixing the link so quickly too. g.
