Hey all, just paid for the full version of Panorama Factory.
Went out quickly to Mt Ainsley to try my had at a pano.
Conditions were a little hazy. Is it possible to remove the haze from landscape shots?
Taken at 50mm.
Taken at 80mm.

I think I actually prefer the 80mm verson, I'd say its well worth revisiting the summit during different weather conditions. Glad you've bought PFactory, it is a great little program, I really enjoy using it and seeing what the program can do to my shots!

Ah, well done, your pano stitched very well! You can remove haze with the burn tool set to "shadows". Use only about 3% and wave your brush over it until the haze is gone. This is a great view. Definately worth a reshoot when the sky is a little nicer.

Yeah, I would like to revisit the site at night but a little dubious about the sort of people I might bump into up there during the night.
Maybe a night meet for Canberra forum members which'll visit that site and the lookout at Mt Pleasant?

I think we're both suffering from dyslexic fingers James.
Having been on the net, I've found that people commonly do spell it as Ainsley, however, it's actually Ainslie.
Will correct it soon.

I double checked my spelling of it and still got it wrong and that is from some one who lived in Canberra for 25 years ....
I was hoping to get out and do some shots like that when I was home over xmas but due to a family emergency will have to try on my next visit home.

Good shots!
You could argue over which one has the tilt here?

Prefer the 80mm version Ray but as someone brought up, lose the tree on the right. It doesn't sit right.
Would be quite interesting if you had one during dawn, midday, dusk and night of the same position.
