I'm in violent agreement with the others; this is the best of the bunch.

This background complements the colouring of the bike, but at the same time, to me it has an almost fairground/merry-go-round kind of feel. well done.

I go with the clouds - makes the bike forceful without interferring in any way with its shape.

I find with the others (except the building) that the design somehow interacts with the main subject in a way that is intrusive to the form and flow of the bike which should be the focus of attention.

I use the pen tool and it has to be done manually. The pen tool is the only tool for this kind of work. Happy to demonstrate the subleties of the tool at a future meet. Took about 3/4 hour to make the selection. Of course...once selected then the bike is mine to put where I want or manipulate as I see fit.

Hi Matt

The pen tool is my favourite in PS - I have deep etched so many products over the years and this has helped immensely in using the same tool in Illustrator.
