Bugs n stuff.Which one is best?
The vege patch is up and running, and the bugs are starting to congregate. Its been blowing a gale, so its damned hard work. #2 was actually on the floor inside. Exposure: 0.067 sec (1/15) Aperture: f/9 Focal Length: 100 mmISO Speed: 800 Exposure Bias: -1 EV Exposure: 0.02 sec (1/50) Aperture: f/11 Focal Length: 50 mm ISO Speed: 800 Exposure Bias: -1 EV Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160) Aperture: f/11 Focal Length: 100 mm ISO Speed: 800Exposure Bias: -1 EV Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 100 mm ISO Speed: 800 Exposure Bias: -1 EV Thanks for looking.
#4 is a ripper. nice composition and DOF. the leaf layers and positioning give the shot alot of character. #1 doesn;t look quite in focus to me.
EM1 l 7.5 l 12-40 l 14 l 17 l 25 l 45 l 60 l 75 l AW1 l V3
I like number four for composition as well, Number one is quite good also.
Realistically, they're all good - well done!
Norbs,
Great photos. I clicked on each first and agree that #1 is soft. The small image looks OK, but for me a better trade off would have been less DoF for more speed. This probably would have sharpened it up a bit. I actually think #4 is best with an interesting composition (garden scape) and nice and sharp. I think #3 is a distant second. The composition is great, but to me it's either a little soft of a touch out of focus. Cheers Simon Grounds
Previously disappointed Nikon user. Now happy to have stuck with it. Bring on the lotto win for some new Nikon's
I'm a big fan of #4. Maybe a little more DOF though? It looks just a touch to shallow at full res.
Nice shooting.
