Great shots Mark,
that's where I thought Liveview would be very useful in macro photography. Did you use manual focus or AF when using liveview? cheers, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Ansel Adams
(misc Nikon stuff)
The first shot looks soft to me.
Did you try some shots of the frog at ISO 200 using your normal (and typically excellent) procedure?
Any noise reduction used?
Either in camera or software, Mark? D4|D3S|D700+MB-D10| 14-24 |24-70|70-200 f/2.8 VRII|70-200 f/4 VR|80-400 AF-S|500VR|Sigma 150 f/2.8 macro|TC's 1.4,1.7E & 2.0III|SB 900
I feel #1 could have used more DOF
#2 is a cracker though. I feel a POTW coming on. I too would like to see the 100% crop. Greg
It's easy to be good... when there is nothing else to do
Certainly. Here you go Gary.
No André, still experimenting (and working it all out) so the Liveview shots were on A/F.
I think it may be in the PPing as I am experimenting with the included copy of Capture NX rather than my usual CS3 methods.
No and no Cheers
