Girls just want to have funMy daughter and a couple of her friends glammed it up for their Yr 10 formal. My daughter is the one in the pale lime green dress. I have zero experience with this type of shooting so I don't know anything about posing etc (hint...tell what to do next time) . It was all a bit rushed as they had to get to the formal on time. I used D70 with 70 - 200 2.8 VR.
Simon I reckon that you have done a good job and that the girls would have been delighted

For someone who says they have no idea you sure did a good job of it... the poses are good and you've obviously made them feel comfortable as it shows in the pics... all three of them are gorgeous btw.. they will be chuffed with the images I am sure...
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
All excellent although sometimes it pays not to have every shot with the eyes looking at the camera.
For example in the last shot if your daughter and the young lady in the dark dress had been looking at each other with the lady in red looking at the camera it would have made more a more powerful composition. Chris
