AntsAnother from yesterday morning.
Some honey spilt out of my sandwich, and I was amazed at how quickly the ants found it... ...so I 'accidently' spilt some more on a branch of the dead peach tree Click for a bigger image. C&C more than welcome!

Ahhh the accidental set up! Nice. Great BG nice and sharp but for me it is a tad to busy. I feel that there needs to be one ant or maybe two that are the main focus. Just a personal thought.

I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
Warren,
The background is good and there is some good detail on some of the ants. I think more depth of field would have helped give the image more impact (at least to me).
Yeah, I kinda struggled with these guys.
Lucky I like honey sandwiches, I try it again later this week. C&C more than welcome!

I like it! Although I'm a self confessed ant nerd so there is no real surprise there.
As said above, some more DOF would be good but it gives a good excuse to try again.... I'll try to be a bit nicer, if you try to be a bit smarter.
