We have water!!!Finally the Menindee lake system is filling. Our family owns a shack beside one of the lakes so we spend a lot of time there. The good news is when the water is about the wildlife flourishes.
A photo for reference of how low the water was a couple of weeks ago, this road leads out the the middle of one of the main lakes in the system. Re: We have water!!!Oh I adore the fairy wren shot... and the rainbow bee eater also... I saw a flock of these guys just a month or so ago but sadly they were too high up for me to get a shot... (noisy little buggers aren't they!)...
and stoked that you guys have rain... its about time too! The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: We have water!!!Thanks for the reply Sue,
Yeah i couldn't believe the noise from the bee eater they remind me a bit of the noise a crickets make. I thought i was pushing it going for the wren shots when taking them with such a low shutter but concentrations on technique brought them through i think. Please don't use or edit my images.
