Afternoon all. Here is a few snaps from today's Historic Hill Climb at Mt Cotton put on by the Historic Racing Car Club of Qld. :D

I stopped taking photos and retired the camera to the car when it started raining and that was at about midday. There was plenty of action after that (like an escort doing the classic "disappearing wheel" trick), but without my camera, those are all just memories now.

Knowing the track well and knowing the shots that come out of it #3 is my pick. Needs a bit of work PP wise but well done. And the first is a great one!

I was contemplating going up there on Sunday, but spent far too much time out on Saturday and paid for it on Sunday with feeling like crap (trying to shift a 2 week old head cold).

Yesterday was a really good day out, with it being quite overcast the lighting was really good. It was the first time I had actually been to the track there, because the last few times I have meant to go out I've had something else on. I spent the first half hour kind of sussing it out, walking around, and looking for some good spots to take shots. It was a fun day of shooting really.

Do you have any suggestions on how I should PP this shot?

I love pic #1 because it's car porn on 4 wheels - those mustangs ROCK!! :D

I also love pic #3 because of the timing with the wheel in the air - that's terrific timing!!

Great work - well done!!

If I had of remembered that these were on yesterday, I would have been there as well - DOH!!
