First attempt at AFL and first Bigma useWell, Saturday was certainly an experience given that I'm NOT a sports person (apart from cricket which is more a religion) and I'm not used to the Bigma which means I needed to be at least 100mm away from the "action".
Anyway D300, Sigma 50-500mm @ 320mm, f/6.3, 1/2500 sec, iso 400 D300, Sigma 50-500mm @ 320mm, f/6.3, 1/2000 sec, iso 400 D300, Sigma 50-500mm @ 195mm, f/6.3, 1/1000 sec, iso 400 D300, Sigma 50-500mm @ 195mm, f/6.3, 1/1250 sec, iso 400
Re: First attempt at AFL and first Bigma useVery nicely done. I've tried shooting sports with a long lens, and the Depth of field is so narrow that I must have gotten 1 out of 50 that I would consider keepers (e.g. subject in focus), you've got some great shots.
I see the aperture is 6.3, the lens is advertised as F4-f6.3, at what focal length does it drop to 6.3? D3 | 18-200VR | 50:1.4 | 28:2.8 | 35-70 2.8 | 12-24 f4
