I like 'The Flasher' and 'Gilligans Island'. too.
'Kli' is a classic shot. Looks great in B&W. The two egrets in the tree are actually Ibis. Nice and sharp too. That new 70-200VR certainly got a good workout Peter. Nice pics all round. Thanks for sharing. Steve.

lol - I love the 'difficult landing' - looks like it's trying to land on the sign!
Do you think everyone has now got the idea we all took pictures of the same group of ducks? They were just asking for their pics to be taken, that group Great shot of the Egret in flight The Flasher is interesting - do you think he had any watches for sale in there? Thanks again for the day, look forward to another trip to Newcastle in the not to distant future. Perhaps we could organise a trip around some of the sights, or maybe over to the dunes at Stockton. *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Thanks Steve, I've updated the description ------- I also have a confession to make. Gilligan's island is a digital composite. The 70-200 at extreme range lacked the DOF to get the sign & the bird in focus so I took two shots with different focus & merged the two together. I'm not totally happy with the result, but then I know which bits are from which shot. Peter
