Trying to make a photobook for a friend's baby, I was experimenting with different 'shoe' shots. Any ideas how to make this better lighting, composition or concept wise?

As always thanks for your advise.

Like the image and concept. I might try a different background and see how that goes, would also be tempted to try a more in motion look, as if the shoes were walking toward you, maybe at a slight angle. No idea how either will come out. Nice idea for a friend

Composition wise, I would include the full reflection of the shoe, perhaps adjust the angle so the background goes all the way to the top. For the lighting, I think the front show should be the brightest.

I like the shot as is....the only thing I might alter is to pop a little light into the rear shoe. Nice work!
