The thrill of being a goalieMy eldest son Sean had his first trial match of the season on sunday. He is trying out for the goalie position .....and although I am not happy with the shots taken I really liked the "feeling" behind this one. This is just a small crop of the image, this is the first year Sean plays on a full sized field (under 9's) and he just got lost in the goals......poor kid is short like his mum!
Still tackling this tamron, think I need to get myself a good tripod. I tried continuous auto focus, but most of the shots are blurred, out of focus. Oh well, plenty of matches ahead of me. Cheers Deb "Sometimes when you are sad Poko, it's good to hug the monkey."
The photo is about the moment too Deb. You really got the story here - he looks like he wishes he was somewhere else. You'll get the focus down pat by the end of the season. Then you can become the official team photographer
