Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

still playing around with light painting.
side on pictures are looking ok, but front on ones need work. it is like the light wont pick up on the bonnet and roof. i will try a few more things though. after clipsal one night my mate who i went with wanted some shots of his car so we met back up at 9pm.   i just got a new LED light aswell, that i havnt used yet, but it will mean i wont have to alter the whitebalance to take out the blue.

Hey mate,
I saw the link for the lighting setup you are using and was wondering how big the stands are? Main reason im asking is i am noticing in light on the top of the car making it hard to see on my monitor (I have only calibrated it by the software provided so may be off). Perhaps finding a way to lift the light a bit higher so we can see the top of the car not just the bottom half? But hey im not really into that type of car either :S

the light is not stationary on a stand, it is handheld and is moved around for the length of the exposure.
