Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. PeaksOk so I finally got around to taking the new camera out for something other than a test shot. So this is effectivally the first shot with the new 50D. Got to say its a lot better than the old 350D, not that the 350D is a shit camera, but you know what I mean. I am very happy with the results I have had from the 50D so far. Re: PeaksHoly crap! I really like this, I'm interested to see what it looks in colour, but I doubt it will be as striking as your black and white. The shame, texture and lighting are all great, and the clouds and to the mood and drama as well.
My only suggestion would be to have a little bit of free space above the top peak, give it a little room to breath, so to speak.
Re: PeaksExif is in the image. Dunno why you can't see it.

Re: PeaksI like this. Such a contrasty image, defining the features worn by the elements over time.
Cheers, Paul
