Gorge Wildlife Park, SA...Cross section of shooting from last Saturday:
C&C welcomed fozzie
When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
Re: Gorge Wildlife Park, SA...lovely work Fozzie.
I really like #3 DOF and piercing eye and blending of golds and browns. Must get up there one day myself!! Couldn't you find a lion??? cheers R2
Re: Gorge Wildlife Park, SA...magnificent pheasant almost looks too perfect to be real, the other three are a lovely group of 'natural' shots and the eye contact in #3 is compelling .. well done

Re: Gorge Wildlife Park, SA...That 1st bird does look almost too perfect - I thought it was a painting when I first saw it. Nice series.
Re: Gorge Wildlife Park, SA...Very well composed photos there Fozzie, I also like the selection in terms of focus for each one. With the first photo the bird is really colourful and you've made the whole body sharp, by contrast the 3rd photo has you focusing on the head of the eagle. My attention is drawn to the eye in particular and your framing of the photo makes it look really dynamic, it's like it's watching its prey, I feel I can hear the piercing scream of an eagle when I look at it and it becomes more apparent if I move back from my monitor. Great work!
