Winery PhotoI took this photo yesterday for an assignment titled "Transport"
I'd like some thoughts on the composition, lighting and colors in the picture please. Nikon D80, Sigma 18-50 f2.8 taken at 50mm and 1/400sec Thanks Andrew
Re: Winery PhotoHI Andrew looks close to home -McLaren Vale/Flat if I recognise the landscape. The composition is good I think but i would like to see more details in the shadow areas under the wagon.More PP or merge two exposures.
cheers inmotion
Re: Winery PhotoPerhaps a CPL to enhance the saturation in the sky a little more. A few clouds would be good too.
With the steps going up to the tray top, I have trouble seeing this in the "Transport" theme. Still your judges may well be happy with it. Perhaps if there was a loaded, modern semi on the track in the background, it would fit better. Also, I feel it would be enhanced if you were to move your point of view a little so that the middle distance tree is not clipped by the dray. Still I don't know what else would end up in the picture if you did that. Greg
It's easy to be good... when there is nothing else to do
