Cockatoo Island - my take

For those of you who didn't attend, we held a mini workshop / group shoot on Cockatoo Island today...

I brought along 3 of my favourite models and one of my favourite Make Up artists and held a workshop on how to work with models and off camera flash...

I think that most people enjoyed themselves, but they at least produced some good images

I didn't take as many shots as I'm used to... but here are a few:

Thanks surenj... It was green... Ageing whitewash...

i like the colour schemes it looks very post war
but maybe as a suggestion reduce the reds in the skintone that will improve the mood

also for next shoot with 2 models its important to have them interacting more
you can give them roles to rollplay the interaction between 2 models is a very important aspect to fashion storytelling
the models here just seem to be standing aimlessly and not interacting with each other

This looked like a fantastic day and the shots are amazing. If you ever do anything like this again I will cancel everything and make sure I can come along.

Those first two are great John, great contrast between the models and the background, also the eye contact is spot on.
