We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. A couple of portraitsI have an acute shortage of female models. My wife runs screaming in the opposite direction whenever I ask for a volunteer to practice my photography. Maybe she is sick of posing after 1.7 million photos, squinting into the sun etc. I conned, sorry, coaxed my youngest daughter to pose for me this evening as I wanted to try out the 85mm with off camera flash. Here are a few results. (I have been waxing eloquent of late about the capabilities of the 85mm F1.8, but it is an outstanding portrait lens.)

Re: A couple of portraitsHey Oz, Mate they look Mickey Mouse to me mate and i too used to have that problem around here and kids are ok for awhile then after 5 mins they start make funny faces etc.. But yeh nice and sharp.
