From a recent jobWell my presence here has been extremely limited as late..life goes on.
I recently shot a 'hip hop' artist and his family for album cover/promo images and I thought I'd post a few here. I had a bit of trouble with getting the WB just right inside the pub in Newtown with fluro lights, a blue pool table and then ambient and halogen lights all mixed in. The last 3 were taken with no flash and ISO 2000, insane. A bit of PP and noise reduction applied but still quite happy with the results. Comments welcomed and appreciated: A big thanks to Craig (Alpha7) who played part as my assistant for this shoot - he was awesome! Geoff

Re: From a recent jobLove the use of the sun as bling in #2.
Given your description of the lighting situation, you've done extremely well with the last two. Always great to use the natural surroundings Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone

Re: From a recent jobThe first two are very nice, a very creative angle that I know I would have not thought of! The final image is also a winner, great colours there and the blue of the pool table really offsets the image in a good way! Second last is strange, purely because they are not lookign at the camera. Looks like a pretty fun shoot though...lots of smiles which is always good.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
