Tasmania 2010Wish I could really do Tasmania justice.
1. Walls of Jerusalem National Park 2. Try as I might, I havent yet nailed a waterfall 3. Tesselated Pavement (HDR a little overdone! It did look pretty amazing) D80, 50mm F/1.8, 18-70mm DX, Sigma 10-20mm
Re: Tasmania 20102nd image, nice but needs a bit of love in my opinion. nice to see that log has finally moved
how about this? in hindsight it may be alittle too bright, however I think teh extra warmth helps... That log has not moved far in 18 months gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Tasmania 2010
I reckon someone moved it. the second version looks very sharp which I prefer. Nice composition BTW.
Re: Tasmania 2010I reckon they are all lovely images, having been to those locations these pics have brought back great memories perhaps cropping the waterfall is a good idea to bring the viewers attention to the falling water more
What a great place Tassie is though for photographers , winter or summer, MUST go back again soon Nikon boy Norman
Re: Tasmania 2010Tasmania is a an amazing place.
I have always had trouble working with getting waterfall images right in terms of colours, the shadows just dont lend themselves to looking right. I love the last image. The colours here are wonderful, and the reflections really bring out the tessalation. Cameron
