So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Rocky MountainsI found myself working last week in Boulder, Colorado so on my day off I drove up to Rocky Mountain National Park. Awesome place, would have liked to stay longer.

Re: Rocky MountainsThanks guys! #1 is my fave as well. I only had 1/2 a day, so I tried more to experience the place than do more serious photography. The colours are something that struck me about the place, everything is so vivid and different from here.
It is indeed ice on the water, I remember lying on it to get the angle. Later it was more like waist deep snow. Luckily I had gloves and a hat, although leaving them at the hotel on this day wasn't so clever. Few more: Elk roaming the town of Estes Park Imagine waking to this every day Bear Lake was as far as the road was open. Here's where I learned that the hood on a Nikon 24-70 makes an awesome snow scoop.
