Re: Couple of PortraitsGeoff
Outstanding! Very creative people shots. If I could make one suggestion....your lighting lacks drama and is a little 'safe'. Don't be afraid to introduce some shadows....they can work wonders for you. I have known photographers who think the aim of good lighting is to avoid shadows and that can stifle portraits and style. Re: Couple of Portraits
Thanks Matt, LOL, you know what I Was trying to avoid introducing shadows! Light source on both these was a single studio flash in front of and slightly above subject bounced into a silver umbrella. I will take your advice on board for next time and try to be a litle more adventurous with the lighting Fuji X-Pro1 | X-E1 | X-T1 | XF14 | XF23 | XF27 | XF35 | XF56 | XF60 | XF10-24 | XF18-55 | XF55-200 | MCEX-11

Re: Couple of PortraitsLooks like you have an endless supply of models to photograph!
Perhaps try removing that vignette in the #1. You also try low key type of lighting with these subjects. The other thing to try is to not have any catchlights in the eyes. It may increase the mysterious nature which you could build up in this sort of portrait.
