As it turned out it was very busy down there along the coastline with many hundreds of other visitors. The light was very nice but dropping to darkness pretty quickly, although we did also have a rising full moon just as it got dark. We were stopping when it got dark and heading off to dinner so I ended up sticking with the one lens - the 70-200mm (fast telephoto) - no time to muck around

Late news: I visited again last night with Gerry and Suren and we shot after sunset and painted with light - I havn't looked at any of those images yet but I have a feeling there's a few there I'll be happier with than this set

I know it's over the limit but with 100 sculptures it was hard to show just a few...
C&C of course is welcomed...
Who can resist Zebra's

I said at the end of shooting that I expected my best photo was taken in the first 5 - I do like this one grabbed right at the start when I saw these girls sitting (ahem) inside the sculpture posing for a mothers photo

Spinning metal things are always good...

As are oversized taps from Sydney Water - made for a silhoutette this late in the day...

Not a sculpture but this caught the eye of two of us - perhaps it was the orange on greeny blue...
