Pelicans on Jarvis BayI have seen a few like this effect lately, so found this in the library. Thoughts, like, dislike? Do I have to much foreground?
Re: Pelicans on Jarvis BayNice use of lines Tony. Boat makes for an interesting picture.

Re: Pelicans on Jarvis BayI'd be inclined to crop the foreground, and perhaps the left side as well.
Or for something very different, crop from the right. g.

Re: Pelicans on Jarvis BayI tell you, little grass hopper.....empty space in a photograph..... can be like silence......in music. It can signify peace, tranquillity, calm and harmony. Rare qualities in todays world.

Re: Pelicans on Jarvis BayI agree with the comment above. I believe that cropping bottom and left leaving the pelican on the bottom two thirds would improve the scene and photo further.
Re: Pelicans on Jarvis BayI'd also vote to shave a bit off the bottom. I am unsure about left or right, or even to crop from the sides at all, I cant find a compromise between the wide format and de-centering the pelicans without an aggressive crop
