Evening walk (Surface Paradise)

I took the picture a few months ago at Surface Paradise, but I could just have taken it yesterday evening. A lonely person walking along a deserted beach. Deserted because of the pandemic and the cold weather. I hope you like it.

Interesting image.

I'm intrigued by the level of elevation of your viewpoint here; from where was this image made? My initial thoughts were that it's from a drone, but I'm thinking that it's more likely one of the beachside high rises.

I also wondered about how this might look in B&W, but I suspect that the person here would be a bit too small for it to be as impactful as I might want.

I love the sense of scale in that image. It is very compelling.

...from where was this image made?

Thank you all. I was at the mirador (viewing lounge) of the Q1 building in the Gold Coast. The pandemic left the Gold Coast deserted.

It's quite different than I expected. And the absence of any horizon makes the waves at the top appear somewhat surreal.

That's not a bad thing, btw.
