Bulbs in the SkyAnyone in Melbourne who has a chance to get down to the Mornington Peninsula, check out Montalto Winery. They have some really groovy sculptures throughout their vines in an outdoor gallery. makes for some good photo opp's.
I took this one several weeks ago and would like to share. Alistair
Thanks for sharing. Those are the coolest bulbs I have ever seen. I half expected to see plantlife flying through the sky as I have been taking stills of bulbs in my house for three days now.
Great clean shapes. Nice pic.
I love this pic. Someone (as well as you) has a great eye for art. Making something out of the ordinary.
Well done and i hope you enjoyed the winery in an area becoming famous for good Pinot Noir. Steve.

Blerg... Ive never taken to Pinot....
Perhaps blended with some chardonay in a method champs... The pic is however excellent! One thing: did you use a circ pol? It might add a bit more contrast between the subject... Very nice! New page

Alistair - like Killa I see art in this photo and if I have to make one positive observation it would be to clone out the globe behind the centre pole at the bottom

Alistair, I agree with Chris, the globe at the bottom is a little distracting. I would clone it out. Other than that great photo. W00DY Andrew
Nikon D3 and lot's of Nikon stuff!!
Thanks people... it was taken with my first outing with the 12-24 and I did also use a CPL as it was a very glary day. I'll add that a posted web jpg loses alot of tone and color when compared to the NEF, so the sky does look a little pale compared to the original.
When I got home, I did notice that bugger of a bulb in the bottom, but don't like modifying the content of my pics when I can help it. Dust bunnies were removed earlier that week with a good scrub of Jiff and steel wool (just kidding... about 5 pec pads and eclipse). Alistair
