20mm f1.8I may be a little ambitious when I shoot in low light.....
http://flickr.com/photos/rjlhughes/20705710/ and that's why I often disguise it by going to black and white. Got both the new 20 mm and the 85 mm yesterday and boy is my eye confused between trying to adjust between the two of them. Bob

B&W does come in handy when light isn't quit right but you still want to salvage a decent shot or occasion.

oh and it's a sigmaYep, black and white is very useful where there's low contrast in the colours.
That was probably shot at 6400, but I can't check atm, since I'm away from the machine it's stored on. The lens is apparently regarded as 'gauzy' wide open, according to Petteri's pontifications, which inspired the acquisition. But it sharpens up very well. I do like the low light lenses. Cost just over 800 at Georges, which I felt a little aggrieved about....centre.net.au has them for a lot less. B Bob

When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
correction: it was $699....I got it confused with another lens I bought at the same time. Still you'll get it cheaper at other places.
