Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Thanks from POON

I am very glad to meet all old friends and new friends on the AW last week. And we are surprised to see some members came
long way from other cities.

We enjoyed the party very much and glad to see the success of our forum and it bring so many wonderful and brilliant persons together.

We treasure the time to have been with you.

Thanks for Gary, Geoff, Glen, Nnnnsic, Greg to moderate this great site and let us have a home to join together.

Thanks for the hospitality of Birdddog and his wife Tran during our stay at their beautiful house and thanks for taking us round the
city and we loved to see all the places and very impressed by the Sydney Fish Market.

Thanks for Matt and his lovely beautiful wife Philo and Stubbsy and Birddog and Tran to take us to the beautiful Woolloomooloo harbor
and Botanic Garden and Opera House and the Sydney Ferry.

Thanks for Studdsy to drive us to his beautiful hometown of New Castle. Happy birthday to you and we wish you will have a wonderful time
with your friends on your birthday party this Saturday.

Thanks for Glen and his beautiful wife Terri and to give some beautiful pictures of his beloved Sydney Bridge and we are much impressed by
the one took from helicopter and we will frame it and will hang it in our office later.

Thanks for Sheepie to give us an unbelievable panoramic picture of Bridge and Opera House and now we hang it in our office.

Birddog told me that some of our forum member want to give us their lovely photos and we appreciate very much and hope that we will bring
back to HK in our next visit to Sydney soon.

We now have photos from Matt, Glen, Scott and Sheepie and we will love to see more photos from our members.
All of our visitors are surprised by the beauty of the pictures and of the wonderful Australia.

We are also glad to meet Onix again and he took us to the beautiful Watson Bay and Darling Harbor.

Thanks for every body and we miss you again and hope to meet you very soon and welcome our members to Hong Kong.

Hope a continued success of our forum!

Best wishes

Poon & Jean - it was great to meet you both. I'm glad you had a great time here and look forward to seeing you on your next visit.

Jean - I know you found it cold here last weekend - lucky it wasn't this weekend as it is around 3 degrees colder than when you were here!

Hi Geoff - while I haven't actually 'sold' any copies, there are several people at work who have paid for a copy to be printed ;)
The pic to Poon was a gift - I am chuffed he has chosen to hang it in public :)

Thanks again for your support Poon & family :)

Joe,
Thanks. We are very impressed by your dressing two different colors and wore the gift watch in two night parties.
We like the cake chryssine made and we brought to our relative in New Castle.
Chryssine is very proud of her Greek origin and we were happy to share the moment with her.
Joe, let's drink some white wine when you visit HK.

Poon, given you posted a pic of me the least I can do is return the favour. This is a shot with way too much shadow, but I like the composition. You and Jean at Lavendar Bay:
