Saw a wedding in the park and stuck my nose in. I don't think the phots were too happy but hey?...It's a public place

Bridesmaid looks hot. Did you show her your gear?

Great shots Matt
Love your work, always full of surprises
You should of ripped up to a photo station printed them out & went back to the wedding & hocked a few
Yours are more than likely better the photographers working the wedding
Cheers

Raydar isn't that always the case? I've seen some really attrocious wedding photos before where the bride has actually liked my photos better. Even though I didn't even rate my shots.

Nice work, Matt.
I would have liked to have seen a slight adjustment to the wb and exposure in the image of the bride; the shadows from the backlighting of this image are playing a slightly bigger part than I think they deserve.

brilliant work!
that bridesmaid has an unbelievable waist! love the colours.
Wonder if you could make a living hanging around parks taking photos of other peoples weddings... photo-hijacking!

Matt. That photo of the fly is really really cool. Did you take this with the 60mm micro?

Nicole. Yes...60mm macro. I just stuck it in his face and shot a couple..then moved closer and did the same etc until he flew off. Really needed to get a little closer for perfection but I think I was working at the limit of the lens.

That fly photo is great! What was the working distance between the lens and the fly?

I think taking pics of public weddings uninvited would be a cool hobby. A wedding pirate! Watch the hired hacks go ballistic!

Maybe that should be the subject matter for the long lens day. Go down to Dawes Point and wait, the brides will come..

A mob or photographers for hire?
Seriously though... I have this funky idea in my head that this site could make some money (for charity, to help Birddog with the prizes) by acting as a mob for hire... pay a certain amount... we organise a meet and charge a small fee...
just a funky idea...
