Of my neice and nephew...great practice
models for me as their at that age where it's difficult to get them to stop still for 1 second...
All taken with D70 and the 50mm 1.4 - some with SB800, some not.
What r u doing Uncle Geoff??
You are making me chuckle!!
I'm with my Mum!!

Hi Geoff, Nice group of shots.
I really like the last one though - such a whimsical expression!

Geoff these are just lovely! I have a mirgrain at moment so won't pick a favourite now, I'll revisit it but some of this are really nice, and definitely going straight in the family album or better still the wall.

Really lovely stuff Geoff. I wish I could get my 50/1.4 to go out and find subjects like that!
I agree with Kinetic - the expression in the last one is priceless. Well done.

Ha! Don't I know all about that! Thank goodness for the delete button

. Fantastic candid images Geoff, particually love the second and the last, infact the last one should be in a frame on the wall. She is beautiful.

As has been said already the 2nd last and last picture are great!

From one Uncle Geoff to another - well done you have really captured the moment. I too think the second and last are the best but they are all very good.

Great pics and love the quality of that 1.4. Definitely print them out and frame them for chrissie presents
*sigh* pondering at giving up the 1.8 now

the second and the last shot are very moving to me with the expressions
I'm a total sucker for emotion in shots, and both of these are very appealing to me.
