holy those are some cute pictures! Well done.
I'm not too sure about that pattern on the sofa, a little distracting? What a cutie.
Its quite amazing... She is very curious about the look of the d70...
So much so that unless I get out from behind the camera she just has her "curious and confused" look on... Once I get out and make silly daddy noises and smily faces she will then start to grin... but still look at the camera... I guess I cant complain really The pattern in on the change table... this was a spur of the moment thing... I have plans to (one day) so set up a proper background and use the flash off camera for a proper shoot... But she smiles and is happy when she wants to and that is when I have to grab the cam.. If you had a giant piece of glass with little circles twitching behind it, wouldn't you be curious?

Gotta tell ya MHD that you can't wait one day with kids. Before you know it, the days, months and years will have rolled by and you'll be saying "Gosh - where did all the time go" Get your shoot set up real soon. Isabelle is growing up so fast, as the weeks roll by. Your photos have shared this with us beautifully!
MHD I've got a little one about the same age as yours so I'm really keen to hear how you set up the 'shoot' as I'd like to try it myself.
You've done a great job with the skin tones in that pic. Did you shoot in nef or how did you set the WB? Regards
Jonesy
It was shot Jpeg... and I didnt nail the WB (was a bit blue) But thankfully I had the white nappy which made post proccessing the WB easy!
The setup... *Isabelle on change table (for some reson she likes that) *Tripod and cam set up with the framing I wanted *I auto focused and then set the cam to manual **this turned out to be really important! Not only did it speed up shot time but the auto focus assist light was making her squint** *I then got out from behind the cam, set it to remote and, while making all kinds of silly daddy faces used the every handy Jaycar remote to fire it....
