50mm f1.8 lens with R72 filter, quick and dirty BW conversion.

The filter cost about $70 (Hoya 58mm) from Teds I think.

I love infrared. One difficulty is that you can hardly see anything through the viewfinder, and given that it all happens best in bright sunlight, you can barely see the image on the LCD.

Huh.

Damn. I was hoping it would look the way infrared colour film looks. Oh well. Guess film is useful still to me. Lol.

I don't know how you would simulate infrared colour film with digital Leigh. I will have to dig out some old infrared ektachromes and relive the magic :)
