A few more christiand, just added the 2nd. I'll post more of this series as soon as I can. What size & file format would you like? .NEF or .JPG? Should I post it here on the boards (the FAQ states 800 pixels), or I can email it to you?

It was my first outing with the newly acquired VR lens, I didnt get a chance to watch the practice so didnt have a clue and wasnt able to capture it as well I could (the motion/action shots). The coloured lights caused me some problems, but meh!, I really am not savvy enough with Photoshop to play with curves. I'll sort my images first and then probably ask for advice on colour correction.

All the shots were taken from the left hand side of the stage (there was a paid professional whom I didnt want to disturb, as well as the other seated folks' view by running from left to right) and my mum would have kicked my ass for causing a scene. I was actually joking told by her not to bring my "bazooka lens"

Hi el nino,

mum was concerned about you taking the bazooka lens ?

Someone (a female) implied to me that the size of the lens on a male is somewhat reciprocal to the size of his willy !
I have a TC-17EII plus the 70-20VR which according to the lady (let me not go there ...) ...
It must be lens envy an behalf of the ladies : lol:

800x600 is a fine format to post.

And thanks for posting another photo, please do more.

Regards,
CD

Ewwww
I hope my mater wasnt insinuating that I have a small wang, but who knows, maybe she thinks it is still the same size as when I was a child? :D

She just gets peeved when she sees me luggin all my camera stuff around.
Jealousy me says, but probably just trying to control her child , who is a man now... It is amazing how many times I say "geez mum, I AAAMM 26 now, gimme a break".
Bloody mothers (like girlfriends/wives) cant live with them, nor without them. Especially a mother's cooking.
