I snapped this image on Sunday in Hyde Park with the 80-200mm lens. Look at the guys left foot! It can't be that big, surely. It's not likely that the lens has distorted the image? Perhaps just a weird perspective?
Or just big feet?

Back in Kraut Land (that's where I come from) we used to say,
they (big feet) are extremely useful for stomping (stamping ?) out fires.

The image has not been distorted in Photoshop. The out of camera perspective has not been changed. It is just a strange image in that the foot looks too big.

Looks like there's a bit of elongation just from the way it's shot, but otherwise, yes, he has big feet.

Wow, you should be able to make millions off of this photo.
You didn't notice these feet when you took the photo? Looks like the other foot (judging by the toe) is just as large. Too bad there isn't a clear shot of his hands. I knew a fellow who was a little below average in size, but had the most enormous hands and feet. It looked like he was wearing baseball gloves or something.

No. This a genuine image. I was simply struck by the perceived size of the feet after I opened the image in
PS. The guy didn't look unusual when I took the image...I was thinking how he looked like Max Dupains "the sunbather" and grabbed a couple of quick shots.

"big feet - little" patience for people who constantly talk about how big feet are, I mean seriously, they're just feet...
Where's the anecdote for big noses?
