THis is a lovely shot.
I like the frame you have put on it!
I would like to see it a bit bigger and perhaps cropped a little more than it is.
The black of the groom's jacket is too close to that of the background - with some gentle PPing I think this could be enhanced - maybe some curve changes.
Is this a job you did/friends!? I hope you don't mind the constructive criticism.

Very nicely composed. I liked the colour treatment too. Suits it.

Hi Geoff,
thanks for your comments. I don't mind the constructive critisism (or destructive

, that's why I post to get feedback & thoughts from others.
In this version I have taken some of you comments and softened the colour a tad.

The second is much better but both crops are excellent.

Could you link it to a slightly bigger one?
I'd like to see it in a bit more detail but, alas, cannot as I'm only seeing what I would say is a thumbnail.

The second crop looks great as do the slight changes in colour that you have done.
I love the way you have matched the frame colour to the photo. It really adds to the whole effect.

I like both but in particular #1. Marriage is a long highway and the area to the right in #1 expresses this beautifully, especially the curve of the beach.

Nice image and great composition. And nicely processed! My only complaint is that I have a problem with images that show the back of people. They work occasionally, but usually only when the person is so well known that he or she can be recognised from the back. I would have preferred to have seen the couple walking into the image.

What a wonderful shot - I would be chuffed with this shot if I was the bride and groom
Matt - I kind of like the couple walking away - almost like they are walking away from the present, and into the future ..... but just my opinion
