Another version of the lonely chairAs I am still away I only have an old version of Paintshop on my laptop to play with but came up with this. It is a slightly different shot than the first one taken from a different viewpoint.

Mark,
This is a very... strange, eerie... almost troubling photo... I admittedly haven't seen the first one.. but ... there is something strange happening here that puts me on edge, like the build up in a good suspense/thriller movie.. not sure if its how you captured it, or the PP you've performed.. but this shot freaks me out. *but I still like it alot*, just can't pinpoint what troubles me the most..
I thought your first shot was great but this one is so much better, those shadows really make this shot for me.

There is a lot going on here. Colour contrast, the lines of the trees, the absence of people, the mood of the location, etc It is a wonderful picture and open to many interpretations. This is a keeper and I would expect to see it framed and on show. Congrats. In fact why isn't this POTW material?
In the end we know Nothing, but in the meantime Learn like crazy.
