I am often around this species but she's very camera shy - I was lucky to get this one! Comments welcomed:

I don't think it 's a good shot, mostly because it seems too muddled, Geoff.
The top left eye is blocked and there's too much in the way.

That's what my critiques will be like this year... straight honesty.
Get used to it.

I like it.
Tight and quite intimate.

I like the image also. You got close. I don't like the colour tint much and would prefer blue or copper.

It is strangely attractive image Geoff I suspect its the colour rendition combined with the eye contact and its composition. You can see you have worked to catch her out. Good capture

I'd even say getting very close to arty farty Geoff
cheers

Geoff,
I think you did well in the circumstances, but you really shold try to convince her to pose or not even pose but ignore you while you take some shots. Love the hair all over the place.

I'm with the dude wearing the santa hat on this one. Her right eye is obscured and that spoils the shot...

The more I look at this one, the more I like it.
There's some sensuality exuding from this image that I've not seen very often, and it truly makes this image.

Thanks ppl- I like it too. It is mystical but intimate, just how I wanted it to 'feel'. Now I just have to convince her to let me take more

Hey Mr. Mod, I'm new here and don't want to go upsetting the boss but you want honesty:
Kill some of the hair on the right hand side to remove the unnecessary distraction, a sepia colour would work for me too.
I'd prefer more sharpness in the left eye but right now the other eye is hogging it but it's not a real biggie anyhow.
The other two fixes previously mentioned would help imo but.

Thanks for your constructive comments Collingwood. Mod or not, if someone asks for comments/constructive criticism then if you think the image needs improvingt, then tell them (politely)...which you've done

.
One of the great things about this forum is that people are honest but give their opinions tactfully...I will have another play with the image today!
Have a good week!

Na, Im with the dude with the little green monster logo. I think the image's appeal is collectively held in all these things that some are trying to clone or chop out, the 'I gotcha anyway' pose and those eyes. Well 2 of us are right anyway Gary
cheers

I really like this image. I love the spontanaity, and there is a sultriness in that look which is really attraactive.
It certainly works for me. Well done.
