Bolte Bridge Mk2

Hi All, well i am now using flickr, thanks for the help everyone, hope ihave done everything o.k. if not please adviseme

Image taken with D2X/Raw and converted with CS2

am amazed at an A4 print i made of this image in that the shadow/highlight details are there to be seen in great clarity

I am now converted to Raw and am figuring out wether to buy a portable image tank more cards or both

D2x makes great jpegs but Raw does win hands down, sorry if i am soun ding like the channel 9 late news but i just took m time getting around to it

From what I can see, it looks like the lighting on this bridge at night would be quite good (vertically illuminated pillars + deck).

Can you reshoot from this aspect at night? (obviously the boat might not be there :D )

Picture is now displaying correctly too.

Very interesting composition with the old sailing ship going under the new whizz bang, modern bridge...

Would love to see the bridge at night (or early morning) when it's lit up... Hmmm, might go scouting around there for some good vantage points...

I will definitley try a night shoot at that spot !!

Initially i didn't like the bridge much but it has grown on me a little,

a relation of mine who didn't like the bridge's namesake Henry Bolte
(who presided over the states last hanging whilst premier) has dubbed it ''The Hangmans bridge'' and it has caught on within certain circles .
