Ok, I've upload one of my photos taken today. I've got a stack of photos so far but havent had much time to photoshop them. Plus my sisters 15inch monitor with its 800x600 resolution is really poor to do any photoshop work. Its on its way out and Im convincing them to get a 17inch flat. I really need to go for a drive as Im running out of subjects around here. Although there is a lovely hawk perched in a tree up the road that I might have to snap with my 70-300G. Anyway keep a watch on this URL and Ill post updates when I add more.

This was taken this afternoon with my nephew. The tree and grass was a bit underexposed so I created an inverted desaturated layer and used it as a soft light. It really brought out the detail in the grass and enhanced the sky. I've also got some other photos of some nice cloud formations that Raydar might like :D

I hope you enjoyed the trip!

Nice shot... The "sloping top" of the foreground tree almost takes your eye to the horizon... hmmm, maybe that's just me ;-)

Cheers,
Mudder

I like it. Looks to be shot early in the moring which gives it that ghostly haze.

It was actually taken at about 1-2pm in the afternoon but the sun is fairly low in the sky during winter in the northern hemisphere. Everything seems to be in shadow a lot. Plus the photoshopping that I did makes the sky look a lot more dramatic then it actually was.

Nice photo Kipper -reminds me of my first home.

In England, this time of year, dawn is around 8am and dusk around 4pm - great time of year for night shots

Hi Glen

Actually this is an adaption of the famous ”Blue Blasters” insignia of attack squadron VA-34. Originated in October 1943 (as VF-20). The squadron was based on USS Lexington and saw action in the Pacific.

I think the Hells Angels would love this one!!!

Ok a total of 8 photos up now. Noticed a dark spot on the left hand side of the shots when shooting landscape. Think it's some dust or something either on the lens or on the ccd. Hope it's the lens! Should invest in a Giotto Rocket.

Added two more photos. Got heaps more but haven't had the time to choose what are keepers and what aren't. Well save all photos and review at home but for now getting the best and trying to edit using PS as best as I can on this poor monitor.

Kipper,

Have you made the move to France permaently or are you just on holidays?

I noticed ou have changed your location in your profile so thought maybe it was permanent. BTW - I really like the images, keep them coming :)

Hhehehe.....well not yet anyway. Everytime I come here I fall in love with the place. So maybe in the future when I've learnt the language :)

Just thought I'd change the location so people could see where I am. Be good if there was some sort of feature with bulletin boards so you could place the status of your account to Vacation and the location.
