Here are a couole more pics from last Xmas , I went by Bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Cambodia, to visit the angkor complex that consist of many temples, one of them is Angkor Wat, an Hindu based (religion from India) temple.it is one of the most spectacular temples in the world
Ankor Wat was built about 1112-1152, this temple was built by many large stones to form the temple similar to the Egypt Piramid,going to this temple to have the feeling of traveling back in time. when the Cambodia King moved Its Capital to a new location phnom penh in mid 15th century, this temple was hidden from outside world , this lost temple was found in about 1860 by the French colonialists.Those angkor comlex is an indication that the Khmer ( now Cambodia ) once was an Empire in about 12th Century .

I agree, the storie behind the shots, or just a bit of background about what we are seeing can make a big difference.

Spada I think the first shot is a lot stronger then the second one.

Spada, this place is on my wish list too/

Picture 1 is my pick here, the composition is a lot stronger and cleaner.

#2 is unbalanced to me due to the heavy green trees on the left and the pond sides being different perspectives.
