Year's favorite shot

Actually this is my second favorite. No 1 I'm holding back for the 3rd Challenger.

I was trying to capture my new son's innocence and fragility. For me this shot does it but to you it probably is just another photo.

Merry xmas

Show us your favorite shot....

Excellent photo Ajo43. Very sharp and clear.

Thanks for sharing. Will post my favourite photo soon.

Graham BTW They lose their innocence and fragility at age 2 and remain this way until at least age 25. :D :D :D

Enjoy your children while you can - time flies by so quickly

I'll bet it does look great printed. You could sell that shot. Great tracking and sharpness given how hard it is to get these shots.

Is this taken at Indy on the Gold Coast?

Some of you have seen this before but I can't post it enough :)

It looked better after MattK got to it with Photoshop but I don't have a soft copy of that one (just an A3 print)

Lucky she takes after her dad

Merry Christmas,

how do you imbed a photo into your posting rather than give a link to your image when posting ?

Cheers

After you click "Post Reply" you'll see a button "Img".

Click it, then post the http address to your link then click the "Img*" button again and there you have it. Check preview to check it worked.

To get your image it should come up like this:

(img)http://downunder.customer.netspace.net.au/transient/favourite.jpg(/img) - but with [ instead of (

thanks

I couldn't get my images to embed either. Nice to know the answer.

Here's may favourite for 2004 (well December really since I've only had my D70 that long).

EDIT: got the URL wrong (doh)
http://www.pixspot.com/displayimage.php?album=48&pos=4

Can't embed the pic itself since I can't work out the URL :(

Thanks. Sad thing is I'm a programmer and like to think I know these things  Too much Christmas cheer?

(and yep dog is cute. Sadly not mine - next door neighbours)

One of my favourites from this 2004. Not because the shot is tecnically good, or the composition is great - it isn't. This shot has sentimental value to me as this little "Mule Head" died a couple of months ago after being at my side for 16 years.

Image BTW, this shot has had nothing done to other than resize and save for web as a jpeg. My printed version is on another computer and is an entirely different image.

Cheers

Matt

This is a real toughy. I'm going to have to say my Nature in Black and White only because I learned so much about digital photography, changing to black and white, pp, posting on the internet, etc.

http://potofgrass.ath.cx/gallery/challe ... ee_smaller

I would embed it here but I don't know where the URL is.

Looking through all of my photos and choosing one is tough, but this was probably the most enriching experience. Probably not my best photo though.
