70-200 VR first shot....

Since she bought it, I allowed my wife to take the first pic. This is not processed in any way, and no, she really doesn't understand photography beyond P & S. Oh well......still can't wait to play with it myself

you are correct. She remembered to put the SB-800 on the camera, but forgot to turn it on. Puppy wouldn't stand still for any more shots, and as big as he is he tends to get his way.

That why I have my 70-200VR in my bag most of the time as said in another thread.
In many venues, flash not allowed or not recommend, 70-200VR serves me well, once airborne in a heli, it gave me very flexi way to play my game in the air same as fixed wing.
