going back to basics...

Sometimes i get a little bit frustrated taking shots, and go back to the basics. For me it's always a breath of fresh air.... and strangely rewarding. C&C always welcome.

I like the water the best, I find them all very calming and work well as a set.
As for technical advice, you could teach me a thing or 2.

Excellent, simple arrangements Mark.
"Water" works beautifully. I guess the Montville/Maleny area is offering some nice subjects.

thanks simon... yeh.. it was beautiful up there.. .a nice break from the norm.
the last one was taken from hell's gate at noosa... i decided to rack up some klms today
also... needed an excuse to see noosa's fire station

Certainly a diverse set of reviewers - I have chosen the last shot for its simplicity. The isolation of the object in the top right third lends some mystery to an excellent shot. In a word - sublime

Love the dappled light on the frond and the simplicity of #3 makes the image...
