Hi guys,

Need your expertise here. Went to the zoo yesterday and got (what I think is quite a cool) image of an otter shaking some water off.

Image

Unfortunately managed to capture a rather irritatingly-placed reflection as well, as you can see. Just wondered what would be the best way to rescue this image? Feel free to have a play with it yourselves.

Here is a larger version if that helps anyone (Warning - 600kb):

Thanks for your help,

How's this...
I didn't worry too much about the rocks and background, concentrated mainly on the otter, although everything within the reflection zone got a bit of burn treatment. I just used burned the midtones at about 50% exposure, going over it a couple of times until it looked about right and then blending the edges in to make it look more natural.

I don't think you're ever going to fix this one perfectly though Matt K and some other PS gurus will be able to do a far better job than me and I look forward to their input.

Thanks Simon, otter certainly looks better there. I am also curious to see if there are any other ways of going about it, but will have a go at burning it myself.
