Grapes, natural?

I shot this this-afternoon for a client. I was wondering if I should get rid of any little brown bits or spots or keep it as natural as possible?

Hi Heath,

great photo.
I wouldn't worry about little brown spots
Where are they anyway :o
Did you PP and cut the grapes from an existing back ground you wanted to get rid of ?
If so, I think the border between the blurry grapes in the back groud and
the white nothing is too sharp !
What I'm trying to say is that blurry grapes with a sharp defined edge (border) don't work. (blury grapes cannot have a sharply defined edge).

Cheers,
CD

HB - if this is the kind of shot your client wants then it is fine. What kind of use will the photo be put to?

Thanks all for feedback.

Christian - This photo has quite minor PP, the hard edge thing can happen when shooting something with too strong backlight, but less likely when this out of focus... Perhaps I should make it look a little softer, erasing the harder edge. Valuable feedback mate, something that I had not seen, and now really think it should be fixed.

Since they are web design people, I'd say it will probably be used on their stationary, and website.

One of the biggest challenges with this shot was shooting the grapes in a way that makes them triangluar, in line with the iconic/traditional grape bunch.

Stunning - leave the spots - adds to the 'reality' of the shot
Beautifully executed :)

Well constructed Heath. It certainly has a sense of fresghness. The high key effect suits the image and contrasts the dark grapes. I also think the dark spots enhance the overall effect.
