We have an influx of a bird at the moment very noisy (but pleasantly so) and there are 100s of them around at the moment.

Grabbed the camera and 80-400VR (thanks OP) and on the way to photograph them came across these

The Fisherman

The Butcher

The Minor

And what's this???

looks like a Noisy Friarbird according to my field guide, but IANAO

Did you hear the one about the fisherman, the butcher, the miner and the friar?

Nice set of bird shots and good to see the 80-400 VR getting a working out!

we have butcher birds in the tree across the road [well we did]
Was funny watching people get attacked by the birds around september every year
