Very nice leigh999 - I like the shade of blue in the 2nd one, that's caused by the corrigated roof and probably the weather, it has a kinda eery feel about it. Did you do any post processing to either of these? The first image is nice too Well done and keep on posting!

I like both of your shots - but in particular the cats whiskers. That is one healthy cat.

The thing I like about both of these pix is that they show:

Someone who is interested in making a photograph, not just taking one.

Someone who thinks outside the square.

That imagination is more important than technical know-how.

As a cat person, I enjoyed the first shot. Such detail, and how on earth did you get the cat to stay there as they have a mind and will of their own (attitude)

Kitty whiskers should have been titled kitty nose, cos that was the main focus of the image.

They are lovely pieces of fine art - I'm sure... I lack the sophistication for appreciating art.

Strange thing about the corrugated roof shot is that the original was a very low contrast flat grey but when I tweaked the levels, specifically bring the black point down, this amazing cold blue appeared from nowhere. Other than that curves and sharpening.

As to the cat, I was trying to do some indoor set-up shots but he wanted some attention so came and sat in the middle of it all. I thought why fight it and took some pics of him instead
