Took these days. Big contrast to Stubbsy's weather. None of these are great, but it was more an exercise in actually getting out there and taking photos.

#3 - Really like the texture in this one, but the bit on the left is not quite right :(

Nick

#1 is superb - what a great opportunity being there when the baths were empty.

#4 is great too with the bird, but I'd have preferred a wider shot to emphasise the oddness of the scene. WIth this tight crop we don't get to realise the bird is wading in an empty and very large swimming pool.

Thanks Peter.

Was hard to get the exposure right, mainly because of the reflective white paint on the blocks. Got some nice shots (composition wise at least) back along the walkway / bridge towards the blocks, but the blocks are right on the edge of blown / blown.

With #3 I was trying to concentrate on the cross but I agree a wider crop probably would work better. Was hard to get the exposure right on this one in particular.

I think that every time I've been there it has been empty. Might have been full once.

While I was there a guy turned up and put the pumps on - he was flushing it out for a while, then going to fill the baths.

Had to crop it because whenever I use a CPL it looks like I'm drunk - tend to forget the horizon.
