Hi,
Another one from Malaysia. Captured in Little Lissabon (Little Portugal) area. When I'm looking to this picture it brings up feeling of sadness and solitude and this is effect I was trying to achieve. If you feel something similar, my work was successful

Very nice Mikhail. Rather than being tropical, it looks like a cold bleak beach scene in a Hemingway novel. Great image.

Mikhail,
This is a wonderful shot, probably the finest that I've seen from you.

I have to agree with Steve it has a real Hemmingway feel to it, and definitely is one of the finest shots I've seen you post, excellent work Mikhail!

Great image Mikhail
Nice composition and the B & W works well for this shot. Had you used colour film for this one it would not have had anywhere near the impact.

This seems a very powerful and stark image... The B&W treatment suits it well too...
If an image invokes an emotion in the viewer, the photographer has done their job well and this image really does invoke an emotional response, well done...

Sadly, it's reminiscient of many of our southeast Qld dams....
Beautiful, evocative image. Could be from any era. I like it a lot.
